A local family is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time housekeeper to support two busy, working households on a weekly basis. The role will focus on maintaining clean, organized homes and assisting with simple meal preparation.

Housekeeping Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable environment across both households. Duties include general cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, along with detailed kitchen and bathroom care. Laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, as well as changing bed linens and making beds, will be part of the routine.

The role also involves tidying and organizing common areas and living spaces, emptying trash and recycling, and preparing simple, family meals for 2–3 days of the week. Additional light household tasks may be requested to help ensure the smooth operation of both homes.

• Prior housekeeping/cleaning experience is required

Compensation and Structure for Housekeeping Position:

This is a part time position working approximately 20 - 25 hours in a 3-day work week, home locations being in Brighton and Hartland, Michigan. The family is willing to offer a competitive hourly rate and will consider pay based on experience.

The Recruitment Process for the Housekeeping Position:

The recruitment process includes a phone interview, an in-person interview with the families, an interactive interview (opportunity to see the homes and discuss schedules), and a background check.
