Locum - OB/GYN: Obstetrics and Gynecology - NP / PA (Bad Axe)

Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - OB/GYN

Join our dynamic healthcare team in Bad Axe, Michigan, at a reputable facility known for its commitment to women's health. We are currently seeking an OB/GYN Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support our clinic operations, covering shifts from August 11th. Our facility operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, every other week, with an expected patient volume of 18-25 per day. You will be supported by a dedicated team of medical assistants and receptionists in a well-equipped environment utilizing Cerner for Electronic Health Records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive women's health services including OB/GYN care.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in required training and orientation sessions.

Qualifications:

• Must be board certified in OB/GYN.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Women's Health/OBGYN is required.
• Active Michigan nursing or physician assistant license.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Must possess a valid DEA registration.
• Clean background check with no malpractice history.
