Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and virtualization platforms, to ensure maximum uptime for manufacturing operations.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing-specific software (e.g., MES, SCADA, ERP modules) and hardware (e.g., industrial PCs, barcode scanners, PLCs connectivity).
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures to protect operational technology (OT) and IT systems from threats, ensuring data integrity and system availability.
• Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing to minimize production downtime in case of system failures.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches/updates to maintain system health and prevent disruptions to production.
• Administer network devices, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure secure and reliable connectivity across the factory floor and remote sites.
• Collaborate with production teams and vendors to integrate new technologies and optimize existing IT solutions for manufacturing efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Demonstrated experience with network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and industrial networking.
• Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices, including cybersecurity for Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), SCADA, or industrial control systems (ICS).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues quickly to minimize production downtime.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions for critical systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments, including SCADA or ICS.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP integration in a production setting.
• Understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
• Knowledge of IT/OT cybersecurity best practices in manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting IoT devices and sensor networks in an industrial context.
