Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily finishing operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor and ensure the quality of finished products through regular inspections and adherence to specifications.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing department personnel, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the finishing area.
• Optimize finishing processes for efficiency, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage inventory of finishing materials and supplies, ensuring availability and minimizing downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process issues to maintain continuous workflow.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing finishing department.
• In-depth knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, coating, polishing, final assembly/inspection).
• Proven ability to implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, including training and performance motivation.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities in a production environment, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production tracking.
• Experience with automated finishing equipment or robotics.
• Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish or other common manufacturing languages.
