Field Service Delivery Driver

This full-time position exists to safely transport hazardous materials to and from customers.

Major Responsibilities

• Deliver and/or collect material to varied locales
• Ability to use hand carts and pallet jacks
• Load / Off load trucks, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Prepare shipping papers and collect payments
• Adhere to routes and meet delivery schedules
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Report all defects, accidents or violations

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL class B or A
• Clean driving record
• Ability to read map and follow directions
• Ability to maneuver heavy containers and drums
• Comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
• Prepare paperwork accurately and legibly
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times while ensuring customer satisfaction

Education and Experience

• Class B Commercial Drivers License or ability to acquire one, Class A preferred
• Hazardous Material endorsement or ability to acquire one

Continuing Education/Training: Persons filling this position must undergo an introductory training program to ensure that they are able to respond to emergencies by being familiar with emergency procedures, emergency equipment, and emergency systems. Personnel must participate in an annual review of this training program.
