Radiology Job Details

• Location: Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based CT Unit
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025 – End: 12/15/2025)
• Shifts: Three 12-hour shifts per week (3pm – 3:30am); occasional swing shift (11am – 11:30pm); every other weekend; shifts not scheduled on consecutive days
• On-call: Required
• Employment Type: Travel Radiology Job
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250 - $2310

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist performing CT scans and radiologic procedures, including biopsies
• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program
• Current BLS certification
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and coverage gaps

Radiology Responsibilities

• Perform computerized tomographic radiology procedures and general diagnostic radiology examinations
• Explain CT and radiologic examination procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging
• Review clinical data and obtain additional patient history as needed
• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain adequate supplies for CT scans
• Set up equipment and perform CT scans, manually controlling equipment for optimal diagnostic results
• Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor patients for reactions, providing immediate care if necessary
• Assist radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures, including biopsies
• Ensure radiation protection principles are followed (shielding, dose reduction, ALARA techniques)
• Manage PACS and RIS systems, ensuring high-quality image delivery and accurate study indexing
• Document procedures and patient information in medical records and radiology information systems
• Consistently demonstrate team member standards of excellence, including open communication, positive attitude, and respect for diversity
