CK Transportation is hiring a CDL A driver for a regional position running out of Detroit with steady freight and a predictable weekly schedule. This position runs consistent Midwest and Northeast lanes designed to keep drivers moving during the week and home for a full reset on the weekend. Drivers who prefer routine freight and planned dispatch tend to do well in this fleet.

Pay & Weekly Schedule

Weekly pay ranges from $1,250 to $1,450 depending on miles and performance, with a $1,200 weekly pay protection available when eligibility requirements are met. Paychecks are issued every Friday. Because the freight lanes stay consistent, miles stay consistent, which helps drivers maintain stable weekly income.

How the Route Runs

Freight moves through Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and surrounding Northeast states. Loads are normally planned ahead of time so drivers are not waiting on last-minute assignments. Most drivers leave early in the week and return by Friday, allowing a full 48-hour reset at home before the next dispatch.

Equipment & Orientation

Drivers are assigned 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors with automatic transmission, APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and double bunk configuration. Trucks are maintained on a regular service schedule to keep drivers running and reduce downtime.

Orientation lasts about 2–3 days with hotel and meals provided. Orientation pay is included with the first paycheck, and drivers leave knowing their dispatcher, lanes, and weekly schedule.
