Plastics Manufacturing Cell Lead

The Essentials

• Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:00PM–11:00PM
• Reports to: Molding Supervisor
• Location: Battle Creek, MI
• Pay: $23.16/hour (DOE) + $2.00 shift premium

What You’ll Tackle

• Lead by example; enforce all safety guidelines and procedures
• Deliver orientation and hands-on training to production associates
• Inspect parts to standard; reinforce quality guidelines at the machine
• Partner with team members to troubleshoot quality and throughput issues
• Perform changeovers and routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Identify material types; ensure adherence to the Kanban system
• Complete department paperwork, maintain required training, and sustain 5S

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations
• High School Diploma or GED; minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
• Strong attention to detail; able to manage tasks and projects on schedule

Proficiency

• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Basic Computer Skills
