Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a vibrant middle school team in Dearborn, MI, on a contract basis. Serving a middle school caseload, you will play a crucial role in supporting students communication development and academic success. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to middle school students with diverse communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and/or swallowing disorders
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions to stay current in best practices

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or certification
• Experience working with middle school students on a school caseload
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education (CSY and 26/27 practices preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently and provide timely interventions
