Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily fabrication operations, including cutting, welding, and assembly.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of fabrication technicians.
• Ensure all fabricated products meet specified quality standards and blueprints.
• Optimize fabrication processes for efficiency, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate with engineering and production planning to meet project deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication equipment malfunctions and process issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in various fabrication techniques (welding, cutting, forming).
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing fabrication setting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement effective solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).
• Advanced welding certifications (e.g., ASME, AWS D1.1).
• Experience programming and operating automated fabrication equipment (e.g., CNC plasma, laser cutters, robotic welding).
