We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Mortgage Consultant to join our team! As a Mortgage Consultant, you'll play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, generating new business from inbound and outbound leads, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization. Working closely with the Consumer Direct Sales Manager and the team, you will help drive sales success while ensuring our customers receive top-tier service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Originate Mortgage Loans: Handle inbound leads, manage current portfolios, and actively participate in campaigns to generate new loan volume.
Application Process: Assist clients with loan applications, analyze their financial situation, and submit loan applications to processing after running data through an automated underwriting system.
Document Collection: Ensure timely collection of required documents for processing, underwriting, and closing.
Client Retention: Make outbound calls and follow up with existing customers to retain their business and ensure satisfaction.
Customer Support: Respond to incoming calls, address customer inquiries, and provide helpful guidance.
Loan Consultation: Interview applicants to understand their goals, recommend suitable products, and provide clear pricing options.
Sales Goals: Strive to meet both departmental and individual sales/production goals.
Process Documentation: Ensure checklists are followed, ensuring smooth processing for processors and underwriters.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate client information and communication history in the CRM system.
Adhere to Standards: Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards to provide an excellent experience for clients and team members alike.

Key Qualifications:

NMLS License is required.
1+ years of experience in phone sales, preferably in the mortgage refinance or purchase market.
Strong Communication Skills: Clear, professional, and personable communication with clients.
Time Management: Strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
Detail-Oriented: Ability to analyze and understand complex financial data.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with others while working towards common goals.
Customer-Focused: Passion for helping clients and ensuring a smooth and efficient loan process.
