APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Detroit, MI looking to add a Batching Associate to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to manage batching and blending operations while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety. What your day will look like:

• Follow the daily and weekly production schedule in coordination with the Production Manager and operations team.

• Verify the quality, quantity, and lot numbers of all raw materials before batching.

• Batch and blend products under the direction of the team lead.

• Prepare batching sheets in alignment with the production schedule.

• Maintain detailed daily logs and records for batching, blending, and CIP runs.

• Ensure compliance with SOPs and safe manufacturing practices.

• Schedule and perform regular maintenance on batching and blending equipment.

• Organize and maintain materials, tools, and ingredients used in production.

• Monitor ingredient inventory, assist with inventory management, and coordinate orders with Supply Chain, Team Lead, and Production Manager.

• Identify, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement projects.

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years of experience in a production environment, ideally in the packaging/food industry.

• Proficiency with lab equipment, including lab-grade scales, pipettes, volumetric vessels, and spectrophotometers.

• Forklift certification preferred.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Knowledge of spirits or cocktails preferred
