This posting is for our weekend concierge position, every other weekend.

Job description

· Answer the phones with a friendly demeanor

· Greets all visitors, residents, family members, and associates in a warm and helpful manner

· Create and maintain resident administrative files

· Track resident changes

· Possesses and maintains knowledge of the community, its benefits, and services provided

· Order and maintain necessary office supplies

· Maintain an organized, neat office area

· Order and maintain associate name badges and uniforms

· Dresses professionally and is professional at all times

· Assist administration with varying tasks

· Hours are every Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM

GRACE SPECIFIC

· Is prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basis

· Promotes the company mission and belief for everyone to feel loved, listened to and respected

· Attends required community meetings

· Becomes familiar and understands the steps for fire evacuation

· All staff are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all community residents

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Good organizational skills

· Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

· Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, residents, family members, and outside contacts

· Must possess a passion to work with and around senior citizens

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· Must have a high school education or GED equivalent

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook Software preferred

· Must possess excellent customer service skills

· Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm at all times

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The Following physical demands are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

· Sit up to eight hours of the work day

· Stand/walk up to two hours a day

· Frequent support up to 30 pounds

· Frequent lift/carry up to 15 pounds

· Frequent kneel, bend and reach

· Subject to infectious diseases, substances, odors, etc. throughout the work day
