Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Coopersville, MI
Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Coopersville that are seeking skilled Bookkeeper / Office Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and vendor payments.
- Process bi-weekly payroll, administer benefits, and ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
- Oversee daily office operations, including ordering supplies, managing equipment, and vendor relations.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the leadership team and manufacturing floor personnel.
- Assist with HR functions, including new employee onboarding and maintaining personnel records.
- Prepare internal financial reports and assist with year-end accounting procedures and audits.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in full-cycle bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and payroll processing.
- Demonstrated expertise with QuickBooks Desktop/Online and advanced Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a bookkeeping or office management role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven ability to effectively manage office operations, including administrative support, purchasing coordination, and vendor relations.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Basic understanding of inventory management or cost accounting principles
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting
