What You Bring to the Table

• The Basics: High school diploma (or equivalent) and age 18+.

• Education/Experience: You have a 2-year trades degree (or are working on one) OR 4+ years of solid plant maintenance experience.

• Electrical Grit: Understanding of 3-phase electrical and motor controls.

• The "Tech" Mindset: You have high attention to detail, legible record-keeping skills, and can juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day could include:

• System Diagnostics: Troubleshooting electrical systems (starters, fuses, relays) and advanced controls.

• Fluid Power: Maintaining and repairing hydraulic pumps, valves, and air cylinders.

• Advanced Controls: Working with PLCs (ladder diagrams, inputs/outputs) and programming Powerflex 525 drives.

• Fabrication: Using your welding and machining skills to create solutions on the fly.

• Building Care: Managing "big picture" maintenance from boilers and plumbing to small installations.

• Collaboration: Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and production leads to ensure the plant hits its goals.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
