Behavior Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavioral therapy techniques and support their growth and development. You will play a vital part in collecting data, conducting assessments, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

*The RBT 40hr training is provided for free and must be completed prior to starting the position. You will not be paid while completing the training*

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
• Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately.
• Maintain medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education techniques.

Requirements

• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Ability to collect data effectively for ongoing evaluation of client progress.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
