Our childcare is looking for a competent Teacher Assistant to help our lead Teachers in educating our students. You'll get to work with children of various ages and educational needs, while learning how to craft effective lesson plans and organize classrooms.

As a Teacher Assistant, you'll be responsible for individual students – or smaller groups of students – who need assistance to absorb the lesson material. You'll work with the lead Teacher to build plans for class and you'll also help them with record-keeping.

Responsibilities (Includes but not limited to) :

• Provide and implement a variety of materials for Infants and Young Toddlers to explore and manipulate in
• learning activities and imaginative play.
• Offer detailed daily reports to parents that outlined each child's activities, behaviors or concerning issues.
• Conducted thorough parent / teacher conferences every 6 months.
• Sanitize classroom equipment on a daily basis.
• Maintain daily record of activities, behaviors, meals and naps.

Qualifications (Includes but not limited to):

• Working with the lead teacher to monitor class schedules
• Documenting student progress and communicating with parents to keep them informed
• Teaching small groups who need additional help or guidance
• Attending training classes, conferences, or faculty meetings
• Listening to children read, reading to them, or telling them stories
• Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
• Record keeping
• Monitoring student behavior
• Taking attendance
• Getting the classroom ready for lessons
• Overseeing students during non-classroom times, such as lunch, recess, or field trips
• Supervising group activities
