Associate Financial Analyst (Onsite)

However, as a global company, MAHLE offers many job opportunities outside of the U.S. which can be found through our employment website Your Contribution As a Controlling Analyst, you will support month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and SAP project analysis while evaluating complex financial data to guide decision-making. This role manages planning and reporting for the MAHLE Engine Components Tech Center, recommends strategies to enhance profitability and cost efficiency. * Perform Month End Close responsibilities; Month End financial reporting * SAP Project system reporting and analysis, various projects and AD HOC Analysis as needed. * Evaluate complex profits plans, operating records and financial statements * Direct preparation of studies, reports and analysis in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections and business forecasts. * Establish databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts * Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action * Make recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies. * Analyze sales and financial information to determine present and future performance. * Identify and communicate trends and other strategic information to management. * Local process owner for R&D and BU1 NA Allocations * Handles special projects as assigned Your Experience & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a four-year college or university * 4 years related experience in Controlling, Finance or Accounting * Must have excellent planning, organizing, and communication skills * Strong analytical and financial analysis abilities * Capacity to learn and apply new tools and concepts * Knowledge of current principles of accounting, finance and audit principles * Ability to design, implement, and manage complex processes * Excellent Excel skills, including pivot table and macros * Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse or other ERP system tools is a plus Our Offering We will provide a collaborative environment working on exciting assignments, along with ongoing personal & career development opportunities.
