As a **Security Officer - Hospital** in **Wexford, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related matters as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related risks, or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and granting entry to authorized individuals as required.
+ Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in daily reports and logs.
+ Provide assistance during emergency situations, following established protocols and coordinating with medical staff and first responders as necessary.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Vaccinations required for hospital environment.
+ Ability to work in areas including the hospital morgue.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
