About the Role:
Gurr Brothers Construction, a division of a rapidly expanding restoration and reconstruction group, is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support our Reconstruction Division. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth communication between customers, insurance representatives, and our field team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge and respond promptly to all customer inquiries by phone and email.
  • Support the Reconstruction Superintendent with administrative and project-related tasks.
  • Interact professionally with insurance companies, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with customers through open communication and trust.
  • Utilize Google Workspace, JobNimbus, and other construction-related platforms to manage documentation and workflows.
  • Think critically and adapt quickly in an ever-changing work environment.

Schedule:

  • Day shift (8-hour or 10-hour shifts depending on business needs).

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven customer service experience (required).
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Google Workspace and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Exceptional telephone professionalism and etiquette.
  • Strong math and data entry accuracy skills.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-moving environment.
  • Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Oak Park, MI before starting work.
