We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Technician to support production operations, machine setup, training, and quality control in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Setup & Operation

• Set up machines for production and ensure proper operation throughout the shift

• Modify and adjust machine programs as needed

• Monitor machine parameters and respond quickly to abnormal conditions

• Improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and identify process enhancements

Training & Team Support

• Train new employees on machine operation, safety, and quality expectations

• Communicate with other techs to support team flexibility, labor planning, and workflow adjustments

Quality & Safety

• Perform required quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications

• Maintain safety standards at all times and promote safe practices on the floor

• Identify and support improvements to product quality and consistency

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform basic maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, minor adjustments, small part replacement)

• Recognize when issues must be escalated to the maintenance department

• Troubleshoot machine, programming, and process issues

Organization & Workplace Excellence

• Maintain a clean, organized, “tour-ready” work area

• Develop and follow daily cleaning checklists and 5S standards

• Support initiatives to reduce downtime and improve production flow

Planning & Scheduling Support

• Execute daily schedules effectively

• Support labor planning, staffing needs, and overtime coordination

• Communicate production issues or delays to the team promptly

Qualifications

• Experience with machine operation or setup in a manufacturing environment (woodworking or CNC experience a plus)

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills

• Ability to train others and communicate effectively

• Basic maintenance capability with understanding of when to escalate issues

• Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday overtime as needed

Pay Range

Depending on experience
