Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup, changeover, and adjustment activities according to production schedules and specifications.
• Install and align tooling, dies, molds, and fixtures for various manufacturing processes.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues, machine malfunctions, and process deviations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of machinery and equipment.
• Document setup parameters, machine performance, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize machine performance and process efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Proven experience in setting up, adjusting, and operating manufacturing machinery.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for equipment issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with basic PLC programming or HMI troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic schematics.
• Experience using CAD software for reviewing machine setups or tooling designs.
