Looking for a role where your professionalism and positive energy truly make a difference? Duane Waters Hospital, located within the Michigan State Prison in Jackson, is seeking a General Office Assistant (Patient Services) to join the team on an 832‑hour contract. Pay rate is $19 per hour
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the friendly, organized presence at the operator’s desk
- Answer, log, and direct incoming calls with accuracy and care
- Greet and guide visitors entering the facility
- Support the team with light clerical and administrative tasks
What You Bring
- A positive, professional attitude when interacting with the public
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a calm, steady presence
