Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform quality control checks on machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, or programming.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper material handling.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Adjust machine settings and tooling offsets to optimize production and part accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Skilled in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machinery.
• Adept at using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality inspection.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and various material properties.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM).
• Experience operating and programming multi-axis (4-axis, 5-axis) CNC machines.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator).
