We are seeking a dynamic and experienced technical leader to champion high-value opportunity identification and implementation of advanced analytics and AI enablers across Ford's global Supply Chain Technology organization. As the Director, Decision Intelligence and AI-First Transformation, you will define and drive the strategy, training, adoption of an AI-First Transition in order to improve efficiency of the product teams and accelerate delivery of solutions, while building a portfolio of opportunities to enable real-time decisions that optimizes operational cost, improved response to disruptions and optimize decisions in 'Supply Chain Execution' time horizon. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates. **What you'll do...** **_Leadership & Strategy:_** + Own the development & execution of a comprehensive data-enabled decision intelligence strategy to optimize cost, quality & delivery performance across end-to-end supply chain. + Lead the development and implementation of AI/ML strategy to upskill teams and enable them to apply this technology to their day-to-day work to drive efficiency improvements and accelerate delivery. + Work closely with product teams and supply chain and logistics business partners to identify business enablement opportunities to prioritize AI/ML use cases. + Educate teams to adopt a pattern-based mindset regarding their work and how to apply AI/ML technology to those patterns. + Actively collaborate with other analytics and AI leaders across Ford's product development, Manufacturing and Quality domains. **_Solution Development & Implementation:_** + Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI and Machine Learning solutions that optimize business processes, drive automation, and improve product quality. + Ensure our technology solutions align with Ford's enterprise architecture, data strategy and technology standards. + Ensure that projects are scalable, reliable, and integrated into existing IT systems. + Ensure that all AI/ML implementations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards particularly regarding data privacy, fairness, and transparency. **_Data Management:_** + Champion the design and implementation of enterprise ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling teams to cultivate deep domain data expertise, and orchestrate the successful training of advanced analytical and machine learning models on their curated data. + Work with product teams to ensure data quality, security, and accessibility for AI/ML model training. **You'll have...** + Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. + 10+ years of progressive responsibilities in Information Technology (IT) to include: + 5+ years of experience solving business problems through delivering IT solutions in Supply Chain or ERP domains + 3+ years of experience with LLM models, Machine Learning (ML) & Generative AI (GenAI) **Even better, you may have...** + Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or related field. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. + Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all actions. + Good analytical skills, a process-driven work style, and the ability to think strategically. + Ability to develop detailed customer, IT, and data-driven process flows. + Strong team player with proven ability to work cross-functionally.
