Overview

Senior Decision Support Analyst
Location: Hybrid (In-office preferred once a week)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Industry: Healthcare Analytics / Financial Analysis

Our client is seeking a Senior Decision Support Analyst to provide critical financial and statistical analysis that supports informed management decisions. This position involves working with large datasets and requires strong analytical skills to identify areas for operational and cost-efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide analytical operations support using a variety of data sources

• Analyze and interpret data to support decision-making by leadership

• Identify areas of opportunity and assist in the development of new programs

• Recommend actions to improve cost control and cost management

• Prepare strategic and operational studies to improve performance across systems

• Ensure accuracy of data through rigorous verification processes

• Support implementation of new systems and reporting tools

• Manage and interpret large sets of data effectively

Schedule and Shift Details

• Hybrid work options are available

• In-office presence once per week is preferred

• Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications
Required

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field

• At least one year of experience in any of the following:

  • NextGen Inpatient Financials

  • Sunrise Patient Financials Analytics

  • Clinical Quality

  • Data Analysis

• At least one year of experience with any of the following tools:

  • Excel

  • Microsoft Access

• At least one year of experience using data visualization tools, including:

  • Tableau

  • QlikView

  • Power BI

• At least one year of experience with database and query tools, such as:

  • Microsoft SQL Server

  • SQL

  • PostgreSQL

• At least one year of experience working with Meditech CA Cost Accounting
