Assembly Supervisor | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily assembly line operations and production schedules.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of assembly technicians.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, blueprints, and specifications.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols and workplace regulations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Optimize workflow processes and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including training, motivation, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes, tools, equipment, and quality control standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean manufacturing).
• Solid communication skills for effective team coordination, reporting, and inter-departmental collaboration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Experience with advanced robotics or automation systems
• OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification
