Retail Seafood & Butcher Counter Team Member
Join the Team at Fish Lads & Carver’s Meats – Downtown Grand Rapids
Fish Lads of Grand Rapids, along with our sister shop Carver’s Meats, located inside the Grand Rapids Downtown Market, is looking to add friendly and dependable front-of-house team members to support our retail seafood and meat counters. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
A great fit for high school or college students seeking flexible hours.
No late nights required.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has an interest in food and quality ingredients
- Enjoys working with and assisting customers
- Thrives in a fast-paced, on-your-feet environment
- Is eager to learn new skills and grow with the team
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting customers with seafood and meat purchases
- Cutting and preparing fish or meat to order
- Shucking oysters
- Taking and fulfilling customer food orders
- Handling cash and processing transactions
- Delivering prepared food orders
- Keeping the workspace clean, organized, and welcoming
This is a dynamic, multi-role position that supports both our retail counter and our commercial kitchen operations.
