Salary Range: $93,000 - $140,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the high availability and performance of critical IT and OT systems, including ERP, MES, and production control systems.
• Oversee the maintenance and security of the manufacturing network, servers, and operational technology (OT) infrastructure (PLCs, SCADA).
• Develop and implement IT strategies that support manufacturing efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead cybersecurity efforts to protect sensitive manufacturing data, intellectual property, and operational continuity.
• Manage IT projects related to technology upgrades, system integrations, and infrastructure enhancements for production facilities.
• Provide technical leadership and support for shop floor systems, data collection, and reporting tools.
• Drive the adoption of data analytics to optimize manufacturing processes, improve quality, and support predictive maintenance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive IT management experience, with a significant portion in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and their integration with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or other production control systems.
• Strong understanding of operational technology (OT) environments, including SCADA, IoT, and industrial control systems, and the convergence of IT/OT networks.
• Proven leadership in managing IT teams, projects, and vendors, focused on supporting and improving manufacturing operations.
• Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies for both IT and and OT infrastructure within a manufacturing context.
• Ability to align IT strategy with manufacturing business objectives, driving digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems and IT/OT convergence.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices for plant floor environments.
• Experience with common manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) and MES.
