Operations Manager – Manufacturing

Location: Near Midland, MI (On-site)

Salary: $115,000 – $145,000 base salary + bonus

Role Summary

Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a hands-on and results-oriented Operations Manager to lead all aspects of plant operations near Midland, MI. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred

• 5–10+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience (Operations Manager, Production Manager, or similar)

• Proven, hands-on experience implementing and sustaining LEAN manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives

• Strong background in safety management, training, and compliance programs

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams while driving accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively across all levels of the organization

• Proven success in achieving plant performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost

• Desire and capacity to grow into a higher-level operations leadership position

Desired Qualifications

• LEAN or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred

• Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment

• Background in strategic planning and operational excellence initiatives

• Proven success in developing emerging leaders and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture
