Operations Manager – Manufacturing
Location: Near Midland, MI (On-site)
Salary: $115,000 – $145,000 base salary + bonus

Role Summary
Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a hands-on and results-oriented Operations Manager to lead all aspects of plant operations near Midland, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader who is passionate about driving performance, improving processes, and developing teams in a safety-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LEAN manufacturing and safety management, with a proven ability to motivate others and build a high-performance culture. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred
5–10+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience (Operations Manager, Production Manager, or similar)
Proven, hands-on experience implementing and sustaining LEAN manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives
Strong background in safety management, training, and compliance programs
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams while driving accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively across all levels of the organization
Proven success in achieving plant performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Desire and capacity to grow into a higher-level operations leadership position
Desired Qualifications
LEAN or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred
Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment
Background in strategic planning and operational excellence initiatives
Proven success in developing emerging leaders and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture
