Industrial janitor needed for a manufacturing company in Jonesville. This is a temp to direct opporutnity starting at $17.00 per hour.

Industrial Janitor Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift ( Monday through Friday from 02:00pm to 10:00pm )

• Training on 1st shift (6am-2pm) and moving to 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) permanently.
• Cleaning offices, bathrooms, common areas.
• Clean the chips out of the machinery and ensure that any trays of oil are drained.
• Cleans the plant floor and the production equipment as per schedule.
• Empties any necessary garbage in the plant.
• Responsible for the collection, separation, and of recycling and ensuring that recycling areas are always in clean condition.
• Responsible for wastewater storage
• Responsible for maintaining the inventory of janitor supplies and bringing forward any shortages to the supervisor for re-ordering.
• Responsible for ensuring that all walkways and stairs are clear of snow and ice.
• Assist in the cleanup of any spills as required.
• Performs facility janitorial duties and miscellaneous duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.
• Follow proper Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
• Operate floor scrubber machine

Industrial Janitor Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is required.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform repetitive movements.
• Comfortable using a floor scrubber machine.
• Highly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Bending, twisting, reaching, grabbing, pushing, pulling, etc.
• Steel toes are required.
