Lead District IT Specialist

Job Summary Employment is through Ottawa Area Intermediate School District (oaisd.org/jobs).

Primary location for this position will be at Oakridge Public Schools and West Michigan Academy of Arts and Academics in the Muskegon, MI area.

Qualifications: Ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in a technology related field with at least three years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a leadership role preferred. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Experience troubleshooting with both PCs and Macs preferred. Ability to travel to local districts/schools required.

Description: This unique service arrangement represents a collaborative effort between the OAISD and the participating district(s) to maximize technical resources and expertise to benefit local school districts. Individual in this position will act as a liaison between the school district(s) of primary assignment and the broader Technology Services Department by providing technical support to end users and may be responsible for oversight of programs or projects. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and managing the daily activities of the distribution, installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and related equipment.

Schedule: Full Time

Compensation: Grade Level 15. $58,400 - $73,000. Starting pay will be determined based on qualifications, education, certifications, and experience. Well-qualified candidates will start above the minimum.
