Territory Sales Representative - Construction Products Manufacturer - Base Salary to 90k/year - Allegan, MI

  • Our client is a manufacturer of the SMARTci Systems that has been in business for 12+ years. Their premier sales team is focused on increasing Revenue & Profits by connecting daily to potential commercial customers in their territory. Their business provides innovative solutions for improved Continuous Insulation (CI) and has a passion for developing customer advocates resulting in profitable growth. Their Company specializes in continuous insulation by providing one of a kind Composite Metal Hybrid (CMH) Sub-Framing Systems that meet the most recent ASHRAE requirements for commercial building envelopes. SMARTci is a green and thermal product for the construction industry.
  • Currently they are seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the state of Michigan. Candidates can reside anywhere in the state for full consideration for this position, as it is remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas provided by the organization.
  • Travel throughout Indiana, and present to customers and potential customers’ influencer’s providing them with information and support as required to secure business.
  • Increasing Revenue & Profits by connecting daily to potential commercial customers in your territory.
  • Evaluate area performance against established objectives/guidelines (sales forecast, budget, number of new accounts, etc.) and take appropriate action to improve performance.
  • Provide multiple in-person and virtual Power Point presentations weekly (training will be provided). Communicate customer requirements and request support from other departments as necessary to assist in achieving established objectives.
  • Own sales process from project design to project completion.
  • Ability to travel throughout territory 3-4 days a week, including overnight travel to support customer needs.
  • Provide accurate forecast of sales on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that sales activities in the area comply with the company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in establishing sales objectives for area.
  • Assist in developing an area coverage plan, which defines the type of support and frequency of customer contact required to meet territory goals.
  • Provide timely reporting of activities in the field and special reporting to assist in business and product planning.
  • Maintain sales activity daily in our CRM system, HubSpot.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field.
  • 3 + years of experience in Sales or related experience. Experience with commercial roofing or waterproofing products a plus.

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 80k – 90k/year range
  • 4% Commission structure. Uncapped
  • $650 Monthly auto allowance
