About the Role

Great Basin Staffing is hiring two General Laborers for a fast, two-day commercial kitchen install in Saginaw. You’ll help unload heavy equipment, move it into the building, uncrate/peel wrap, assemble light furnishings, and dispose of packaging materials. This is physical, fast-paced work—ideal for dependable workers who show up ready to go.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload semi-trailer with 50+ lb commercial kitchen equipment (team lifts/material handling).

• Move equipment inside and stage per site direction.

• Peel plastic, uncrate equipment, and dispose of packaging (break down cardboard/film).

• Assemble basic items: tables, chairs, shelving (hand tools helpful).

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow crew lead instructions.

Requirements

• Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly ; stand/walk for full shifts.

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.

• FULL PPE REQUIRED: hard hat, grip gloves, safety glasses, hi-vis vest or T-shirt, steel-toe shoes .

• Basic hand-tool familiarity (Allen keys, wrenches, screwdrivers) preferred.

• Valid ID for site check-in; eligible to work in the U.S.
