Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a production line or team, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Train, coach, and mentor production associates, providing guidance and feedback on performance.
• Monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage workload distribution and resource allocation to optimize team productivity.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide input on employee development.
• Collaborate with management on production planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and workflows.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and other departments.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production issues and implement solutions.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control procedures relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet production targets.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• - Proficiency in a specific manufacturing software (e.g., ERP, MES)
• - Forklift certification or experience operating industrial machinery
• - Basic understanding of preventative maintenance procedures
