We are seeking a reliable and motivated Snow Walk Team Leader to oversee and support our sidewalk snow and ice management crews. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in detailed work, lead by example, and are committed to keeping our clients’ properties safe and accessible throughout the winter season.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a crew responsible for sidewalk shoveling, snow blowing, and de-icing applications.

• Ensure all walkways, entrances, and pedestrian areas are cleared thoroughly and efficiently.

• Train team members on proper equipment use, safety procedures, and productivity expectations.

• Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials applied, and any site issues.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatch regarding progress, concerns, or hazards.

• Uphold all safety protocols and promote a safe, efficient, and team-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in snow removal, landscaping, or crew leadership preferred.

• Strong understanding of effective snow clearing and de-icing practices for pedestrian areas.

• Ability to lead a small team and maintain high-quality workmanship under time-sensitive conditions.

• Must be dependable, punctual, and available for on-call work during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to work outdoors in extreme winter weather conditions.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay at $22.00/hour , with opportunities for increased rates based on performance and leadership ability.
