We are looking for a Chassis Dynamometer Technician to work a 3 rd shift opportunity in Auburn Hils. The hours are 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM. If you are not able to work the hours between 1130PM to 8:00 AM please do not apply. This is mandatory. This is a contract to direct opportunity.

The right candidate will be involved with vehicle level benchmarking, instrumented vehicle testing and vehicle level engine calibration inside a state-of-the-art 4WD emissions chassis dynamometer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities will include setting up and conducting tests on advanced chassis dynamometer system for certification and development projects.
• Preventive maintenance of FEV equipment
• Maintaining quality assurance procedures
• This would be for the 3rd shift only

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree, Trade School or Technical School
• Systems knowledge: PC based applications including Microsoft Office
• Mechanical or Electrical experience required
• Chassis dynamometer experience
• Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to succeed are essential
• Effective organizational skills and team working ability desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fabrication experience a plus
• Emissions experience a plus
• Combustion experience a plus
• Engine testing experience a plus
• Horiba testing equipment experience a plus
