Overview
Join our dynamic team in Roseville, MI, as a Die Repair / Die Setter! We are looking for a skilled individual who is passionate about precision and quality in manufacturing.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our production processes run smoothly by maintaining and repairing dies used in our operations. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy problem-solving, this might be the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities- Inspect, repair, and maintain dies to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Set up and adjust dies for production runs, ensuring specifications are met.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve die-related issues.
- Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately for quality control purposes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in training new team members on die repair and setting procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or a related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of IATF-16949 & ISO-14001
- Proven experience in die repair, die setting, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
You should be proficient in:
- Equipment Troubleshooting
- Tape Measure Reading
- Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills
- Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience
- ISO 14001 Certification Experience
- Blueprint Reading
