In Home Caregiver

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure timely administration.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying living areas.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities (e.g., conversation, games, walks).
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as required.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior to the appropriate family member or supervisor.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require CNA certification).
- Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable for client travel).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
- Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and transferring clients when necessary.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
