In Home Caregiver

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide medication reminders and ensure timely administration.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying living areas.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities (e.g., conversation, games, walks).
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
• Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as required.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior to the appropriate family member or supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require CNA certification).
• Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable for client travel).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
• Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and transferring clients when necessary.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
