Accounts Receivable/General Accountant
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable/General Accountant to join our dynamic team in Kalkaska, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our financial transactions while ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). If you have a knack for customer service and a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with financial audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ERP software for financial operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable roles.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience with financial audits and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
