The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Manistee seeking Recruiters who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit skilled trades, production, engineering, and supervisory candidates for manufacturing operations.
• Conduct in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Partner closely with manufacturing hiring managers to understand department needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to offer, ensuring a positive candidate experience for all applicants.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
• Utilize various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, industry networks, and vocational schools to attract manufacturing talent.
• Negotiate offers and facilitate the pre-onboarding process for new hires within manufacturing departments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for various roles within a manufacturing environment (e.g., production, engineering, skilled trades).
• Demonstrated ability to effectively source, screen, and interview candidates for manufacturing positions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, job functions, and relevant industry terminology.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various digital sourcing platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building candidate and hiring manager relationships.

Bonus Qualifications

• Existing network within the local manufacturing community or skilled trades.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Multilingual proficiency, particularly Spanish, to support a diverse workforce.
• Experience with high-volume recruitment for production or skilled trades roles.
