Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a licensed Occupational Therapist in Ingham County. Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license issued by the state of Michigan
- Previous experience working in schools with K-12 populations is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational abilities to manage caseload efficiently
- Commitment to fostering student independence and functional success
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students across a variety of grade levels, based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student access to the curriculum
- Conduct evaluations and contribute to the development and updating of IEPs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with regulatory requirements
- Provide consultation on classroom modifications and adaptive equipment as needed
You’ll have the flexibility to choose between a full-time or part-time schedule, depending on your availability and preference. Placement will occur within Ingham County, giving you the chance to serve diverse student needs in a supportive educational setting.
