Mechanic

Hagopian, a well-established company based in Oak Park, MI, is seeking a full-time Fleet & Facilities Maintenance Technician to join its dedicated team. This is a dynamic role that involves maintaining a large fleet of vehicles, as well as equipment, machinery, and multiple facilities across several locations. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues with vehicles, equipment, machinery, and building facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the life of assets.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Conduct repairs at various company and customer locations as needed.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Complete weekly vehicle inspections to ensure fleet readiness.
• Assist with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, and painting tasks as required.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel locally between company locations.
• Comfortable working with commercial cleaning solvents and following safe work practices.
• Ability to use proper lifting techniques and wear protective equipment as needed.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, twist, reach, and lift objects over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Able to perform tasks requiring sufficient hearing and vision.
• Strong attendance record, work ethic, and time management skills.
