Our trusted client is seeking a Treasury Analyst Consultant to join our team for a long-term engagement in Northville, Michigan. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in corporate treasury and financial analysis, particularly within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing cash flow, assessing financial risks, and providing strategic insights to support organizational decision-making.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Monitor and manage company cash flow to ensure liquidity for financial obligations.
• Oversee and maintain bank accounts while forecasting future cash requirements.
• Identify and evaluate financial risks, including interest rate, foreign exchange, and liquidity risks.
• Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks and recommend protective measures, such as insurance policies.
• Analyze financial data and create models to assess organizational performance.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
• Execute financial transactions and manage investments in line with regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with banks and financial institutions to optimize capital allocation and maintain strong relationships.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, offering insights and actionable recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and best practices in treasury operations.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
• Proven experience in corporate treasury or similar financial roles.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Ability to identify and mitigate financial risks effectively.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
• Familiarity with treasury operations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills for preparing reports and presenting financial insights.
• Experience working with financial institutions and optimizing capital allocation.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
