We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support daily operations and help deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Position Overview

This role involves administrative and substantive legal support. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
• Assist with estate planning and probate filings
• Communicate with clients, courts, and third parties professionally
• Maintain and organize client files (digital and physical)
• Calendar management, scheduling, and deadline tracking
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and general office tasks
• Support attorney with case management and follow-ups

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a legal assistant or paralegal preferred
• Experience in estate planning or probate is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic office systems
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay: $22–$25 depending on experience
• Flexible schedule (part-time or full-time available)
