Part-Time Social Media Strategist (On-site in Ann Arbor, MI)

DENTAL ADVISOR has over 300 Clinical Advisors Nationwide, a State-of-the-art Biomaterials Research Center in Ann Arbor, MI, and has supported the dental profession as an independent, third-party research organization reporting evidence-based data relating to clinical and laboratory properties of dental products and equipment for over 40 years.
The Social Media Strategist will develop, manage, and track multimedia content for the company's social media presence. They create and execute strategies to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and analyze performance across various platforms. Their role is crucial for connecting with target audiences and achieving business objectives in the digital landscape.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business goals, identify target audiences, and research platform trends.
- Social Media Management : Ads management, budget development and allocation. A/B testing and building targeted ad campaigns.
- Content Creation: Develop and manage a social media content calendar, and create engaging multimedia content (text, images, videos) to ensure brand consistency across platforms.
- Community Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster a positive online community.
- Performance Analysis & Optimization: Analyze social media metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and optimize campaigns for better results.
- Platform Expertise: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform features.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, such as communications, public relations or marketing or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of Social Media Marketing experience, including a solid understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, conducting A/B testing and building targeted ad campaigns.
- Content Creation: Ability to create engaging content, including text, images, and videos, that resonates with the target audience.
- Analytics & Reporting: Proficiency in using social media & digital marketing analytics tools to track performance, identify trends, and measure ROI.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with followers and collaborating with teams.
- Strategic Thinking and Problem Solving: Ability to develop and execute social media strategies, adapt to changing trends, and solve problems effectively.
- SEO & Web Traffic: Strong understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to social media marketing.
