Ford Component Sales, LLC (FCS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company aligned with the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD). We are a flexible sales organization that directs resources toward revenue opportunities identified by FCSD.
We are in search of a Supply Chain Specialist that coordinates, tracks, addresses customer, supplier issues, internal issues, external issues, communicates, and reports issues/resolutions within the supply chain. On a contract basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinates and resolves:
- ASN issues
- Quantity discrepancies
- Missing shipments
- Quality issues (claims & returns)
- Packaging issues
- Filing shipping notifications
- Holds weekly meetings with packagers
- Soft purchase orders and invoice reconciliations (including broker fees, packaging, etc.)
- Specialty packaging program coordination
- All communications to/from packagers
- Other duties may be assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
