Baker Cadillac is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Cadillac, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. You will work closely with our service team to provide high-quality service that meets the standards of our customers and the company.
Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related components.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
- Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine mechanics and diagnostics.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate vehicles as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
- Competitive hourly wage of $30.00 - $40.00. Plus bonuses
