Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, onsite School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 26/27 school year in Essexville, MI, serving K-12 students. This role is a contract position within a school setting and requires a dedicated professional passionate about supporting student success through comprehensive psychological services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting educational and psychological assessments to identify student needs
- Developing and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Providing direct counseling and behavioral interventions to support students
- Participating actively in Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and crisis intervention teams
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to enhance student outcomes
- Utilizing data-driven practices to inform decision-making and improve interventions
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Psychology from an accredited program
- Active Michigan School Psychologist license (preliminary or full)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
