Salary Range: $41,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Inspect and test welds for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including selecting appropriate electrodes, gas, and power settings.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment, performing minor repairs as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Identify and report any material defects or process deviations.
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding.
• Document welding activities and production data as required.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding is a plus.
• Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and the ability to operate welding equipment safely.
• Experience with quality control and inspection of welds.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with robotic welding systems
• - Certified welding inspector (CWI) certification
• - Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and welding symbols
• - Familiarity with advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
